Sept 6th: “Ahlan Wa Sahlan - Welcome to Jordan”
You will arrive at Amman International Airport. The adventure begins the moment you arrive at Amman’s Queen Alia International Airport. We are at your service ensuring baggage claim and customs procedures are swift and easy.
We still have some surprises in store for you and take you for a welcome dinner to an ancient Arabian castle (Kan Zeman Restaurant) where a delicious Arabic meal is waiting for you. After dinner we will take you to a beautiful 5 star Hotel in Amman.

Sept. 7th: Amman - Petra
Transfer to Petra. The most famous attraction is the Nabatean city of Petra which has been mentioned in the Bible under the name “Sela”. To reach the city we will walk or ride on horse back to the “Siq”, an immense crack in the Nubian sandstone. We will continue on foot through the winding, one-kilometre-long fissure between overhanging cliffs. At the last turn, out of the gloom appears Petra`s most impressive monument - The Treasury. We will find ourselves surrounded on both sides by hundreds of Petra`s carved and built structures, soaring temples, elaborate Royal tombs, a carved Roman Theatre and many other impressive monuments. A buffet lunch will be served at the Basin Restaurant of Forum Hotel.
After our exciting full day visit of Petra we will enjoy a “Sun Set Concert” with highlights of famous musicals in the Roman Theatre and after the concert fascinating “Petra by Night” is awaiting us. In front of the candle-lit “Treasury” we will be received by a Bedouin playing the flute for us. Afterwards we will walk through the “Siq”, beautifully illuminated by candles. Today a late dinner will be served at our beautiful hotel “Taybet Zaman” in Petra. It is a 19th century totally renovated village (Taybet Zaman Hotel) which offers first class guest accommodation and facilities while experiencing the original way of life in a typical Jordanian village of that era.
We will enjoy our dinner at “Bustan” village square that provides daily entertainment, hubbly bubblies (water pipe) and offers a breath taking view of the Petra mountains.

Sept 8th: Petra - Wadi Rum - Karak - Madaba - Dead Sea
We continue on to Wadi Rum where we will trek deeply into the enchanting landscape in four-wheel-drive vehicles.
Let the fabled T.E.Lawrence come alive. We will rest at our desert camp, stunning in natural beauty and celebrate a traditional party with Bedouins and enjoy the “1000 stars” desert barbecue (to fit in this desert atmosphere we will distribute the Arabian head dress “Kofieh” as a small gift ... if the budget allows we can get the whole dress for you (kaftans with Arabic coats).
After lunch we will travel along the famous Kings‘ Highway to the Dead Sea. The 5,000-year-old King‘s Highway is one of the most memorable journeys in the Holy Land, passing through a string of ancient sights and beautiful landscapes. We will pass by Karak where we will see the famous Crusader fort. Next stop will be Madaba which contains some of the finest Byzantine mosaics in the world. Madaba is the Moabite town, known as Medeba in the Bible. Of great historical importance is the large six century mosaic map of Palestine and Egypt, possibly representing the oldest map of the “Holy Land” in existence.
We will end this day at the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on earth. Enjoy an unforgettable “float” in the therapeutic, salty waters of the Dead Sea! We will enjoy our dinner at one of the most beautiful hotels in Jordan, the 5-star hotel Mövenpick.

Sept 9th: Dead Sea - Mt. Nebo - Amman
Today our camels are waiting for us to take us on a half day tour from the lowest spot on earth to climb the nearby historic Mount Nebo, with its remarkable view across the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. On a clear day the spires of Jerusalem are visible in the distance. Here we will visit one of the oldest churches on earth with beautiful Byzantine mosaics. Mount Nebo is the memorial of Moses, the presumed site of the prophet‘s death and burial place.
A picnic lunch will be served during our camel safari.
In the afternoon we will take you to your hotel in Amman where you can prepare for the great event, the Opera Gala in the Roman Theatre of Amman. The stars of the famous Opera of Prague will present arias of operas by Mozert and Verdi.
After the concert we will take you to the Citadel where an extraordinary open-air gala-dinner is waiting for you. Enjoy a great meal with a fantastic overlook at Amman by night.

Sept.10th: “good-bye ... Ma Salameh!”
Today we have to say “good-bye”. Our adventure in Jordan is finished and we will take you to the airport for departure.
